Attalla Health Care and Rehab Facility celebratesb "National Nursing Home Week " with a theme of "Hearts and Hands that Care ". This celebration was kicked off on 5/14/2007 with a variety of activities, featuring Western Day on 5/15/2007. The events for Western Day with an outdoor cookout with mules (Bonnie and BObbie)and wagon rides as well as, time a petting zoo with minature horse, Pinto and minature donkey, Nick.Attalla Health Care was voted number one both in 2004 and 2005. Great Pride is taken by the facility in continuing to maintain ouystanding service for their residents. Sammy, keep having the rides with wagons because Duck likes to bring those big mules with him. You have a great place to ride, there are many trails are they really go from a beginner rider up to a more expericed rider. I like the idea that you have a choice on what type of trails you can ride. The creek is GREAT! The camping spots are so nice and love the looks of the chalets! People that have never been here need to get out there and look what they have been missing! Come on guys, let's support Sammy! Laura Holdford Friday, 10/28/05, 9:54 AM Dave, I'm the lady that called this morning and also asked about borrowing a horse. I have a great trail horse that a friend might haul for me-I don't have a truck right now, and haul him short distances with an explorer suv but it's too light to go a long distance. If I do borrow or rent a horse from you, I have 5+ years heavy trail experience, have ridden walkers pasos saddlehorses quarter horses and arabians, direct rein or neck rein, and I don't take stupid chances but know how to encourage them. If my friend who rides does not come, could I ride with you or is there anyone else coming next weekend the fourth? I am trying to get a big family group up, don't know yet.
